Uniseum Freiburg: Guided tours for blind and visually impaired people in October, November and December 2022
Freiburg, Oct 18, 2022
The Uniseum Freiburg - the museum at the University of Freiburg - will offer guided tours for blind people and people with visual impairments and their companions for the first time in October, November and December 2022. Visitors can touch various selected objects and thus immerse themselves in the 550-year history of the University of Freiburg. The objects that can be touched are originals of the exhibition, therefore the museum provides gloves to protect the artworks. The objects are complemented by detailed oral descriptions and explanations.
The tours will take place on October 22, November 19 and December 10, 2022, at 3:00 pm. The offer is free of charge. Group size is limited to five people with visual impairments and their companions. Registration is therefore required.
