QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024: University of Freiburg garners several top 10 spots nationwide

The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024 have been published. A total of 55 subject-specific rankings were compiled in five broad subject areas, including “Arts & Humanities,” “Engineering & Technology,” “Life Sciences & Medicine,” “Natural Sciences” and “Social Sciences & Management.” Over 1,500 institutions worldwide were assessed. The University of Freiburg is listed in 33 subject rankings.

In the QS World University Rankings by subject, the University of Freiburg secures several top 10 spots nationwide:

- Anatomy and Physiology (2nd place)

- Forest Sciences (5th place)

- Law (6th place)

- History (6th place)

- Linguistics (6th place)

- Environmental sciences (7th place)

- Geography (7th place)

- Biology (7th place)

- Medicine (7th place)

- Ancient History (7th place)
