Sculptures in Movement

The ancient sculptures of Apollo, Athena, and Laocoon in the Archeological Collection of the University of Freiburg are reminders of a distant past. Ruth Tauchert’s drawings bring them back to life and are a new take on the ancient originals. The special exhibition of Tauchert’s works opens October 29, 2017, in the Archeological Collection and will be shown until February 25, 2018, along with a video in which the artist talks about what she sees in the exhibition objects.

The exhibition of Ruth Tauchert’s drawings opens on October 29, 2017, in the Archeological Collection of the University of Freiburg, im Herderbau, Habsburgerstraße 114, 79106 Freiburg. Admission is free.
