The opening of the 2018/2019 academic year

The University of Freiburg will open the 2018/2019 academic year with an ecumenical service and a ceremony. Edith Sitzmann, Minister of Finance for the State of Baden-Württemberg, will give the keynote speech on "Financial policy for a strong Baden-Württemberg". Other program items include the address by Rector Prof. Dr. Hans-Jochen Schiewer, honoring student involvement and the awarding the young talent and university teaching prizes.
