Technology and consciousness according to Friedrich Nietzsche
The philosopher Volker Gerhardt will give a talk at the University of Freiburg on June 23, 2017
Freiburg, Jun 20, 2017
As an astute analyst that placed the relationship between modern man and science at the center of his thinking, the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche laid indispensible groundwork into the thought behind the chances and risks of science. The philosopher Prof. Dr. Volker Gerhardt from Humboldt University in Berlin taps into these findings during his lecture “Technology and consciousness according to Nietzsche”: He raises the question as to how technology in the digital age impacts human consciousness and how people can behave toward its effects.
