No panic on the Titanic?
Dies Academicus at the Faculty of Theology will discuss “Church and Society at the (right) crossroads” on December 11, 2019
Freiburg, Dec 05, 2019
Shifting to the right, growing anti-Semitism, strengthening of conservative forces are among the topics experts will discuss at Dies Academicus, an event run by the Faculty of Theology at the University of Freiburg. They seek to draw attention in lectures and workshops to the fact that something is not right in society – and also in the church. The panel discussion afterward is devoted to the question of what the political and church future will look like, how to address right-wring tendencies and how it is possible to actively participate in shaping a positive future. The guests are invited to play an active part in scrutinizing the issues.
