The pre-1968 student movement has been long overlooked – even though Freiburg became a bastion of the student movement in the early 1960s. The Uniseum Freiburg exhibit „Mild, wild Freiburg“ is dedicated to some of the most meaningful events during this time period. Prof. Dr. Gisela Riescher, Vice President for Research Integrity, Gender and Diversity, the historian Prof. Dr. Sylvia Paletschek and Angela Witt-Meral, the Uniseum curator will introduce the project at the opening. There will also be a short film “University of Freiburg yesterday and today“.
