Learning about language and culture

The University of Freiburg and the city of Freiburg are anticipating around 400 students and high school graduates from more than 60 countries for its summer university 2018. During the city’s ceremonious reception Vice-President for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Juliane Besters-Dilger and first mayor Martin Horn will greet the participants in the Kaisersaal of the Historisches Kaufhaus (Historical Merchants’ Hall). In the coming weeks they will strengthen their German language skills and take seminars in regional studies, politics, philosophy, literature and culture.
