Inspiring climate talks
Freiburg, Apr 03, 2018
Signed in 2015, the Paris Agreement marked the beginning of a new era of international cooperation on climate change: It is not only aimed at governments, but also calls on all public and private actors to become actively involved. But what potential does such a cooperation have, what risks does it entail and what are its limitations? International experts on climate policy will address these issues and more with the audience during a discussion evening on climate policy. The program also includes a performance by the group "Freiburg Scientific Theater" and the award for the best submissions in the "Prima Klima" photo competition. The event is a part of the conference “Polycentric Climate Governance after Paris: Expectations, Challenges and Pathways” that is taking place from April 12-14, 2018 at the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS).
