Expanded DNA analysis in Great Britain
The forensics specialist Denise Syndercomb-Court will give a lecture at the University of Freiburg on July 14, 2017
Freiburg, Jul 03, 2017
Three current legislative initiatives are aiming to enable expanded DNA analyses in criminal investigations as well as extending the authorization to store DNA data in Germany. In Great Britain expanded DNA analyses have already been used – the forensics specialist Dr. Denise Syndercomb-Court of King’s College London, England, is one of the people who conduct such analyses. She will report on her experiences in a lecture at the University of Freiburg and demonstrate the possibilities and limitations of such a tool.
