End of the semester concert

The Akademisches Orchester Freiburg e.V. will present works from the beginning of the 20^th century during its 2018 semester concert. The program includes the second symphony by Jean Sibelius and Carl Nielsen's clarinet concerto, in which the Freiburg clarinet professor Kilian Herold plays as a soloist. Each semester, the Academic Orchestra prepares a symphonic program, which will be performed in one or more concerts at the end of the semester. It has been under the direction of Joonas Pitkänen since the 2017/2018 winter semester.
