Diving into the world of the ocean
Freiburg, May 31, 2022
Dive into the world of the ocean with all your senses. The event “Dive in” invites you to spend an entire day exploring the natural, cultural space of the sea with 3D sounds and video projections. In order to make the connection to the ocean an immediate and physical experience, the event is conceived as an intensive listening experience that stimulates your own body perception. Not only the human body is made of two-thirds water, but the earth too. A total of three 25-minute sessions is planned. They will take place at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm. The visitors are invited to participate and enjoy the experience. Afterwards there is opportunity for the participants to discuss their experience. The event was created in an interdisciplinary exchange with the behavioral biologist Heike Vester, the musician Christian Billian, the choreographer Pilar Buira Ferre, and students from the University of Freiburg.
