Dies Universitatis on 04 June 2024

The University of Freiburg invites you to the Dies Universitatis on Tuesday, 4 June 2024. During the event, Rector Prof. Dr Kerstin Krieglstein will honour individuals who have rendered outstanding services to the University of Freiburg with honorary senatorships and university medals. The new Vice Rector for Internationalisation and Sustainability, Prof. Dr Melanie Arndt, will introduce herself. The programme also includes insights into the research of the Clusters of Excellence and Cluster of Excellence initiatives, which are allowed to submit a continuation or full proposal in the competition of the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments and include CIBSS and livMatS as well as ConTrans and Future Forests. Prof. Dr Jörn Leonhard, Professor of Modern and Contemporary History, speaker of the ConTrans initiative and Leibniz prize winner 2024, will give the keynote speech at Dies Universitatis 2024.
