It is currently less clear than ever how exactly the United Kingdom will withdraw from the European Union (EU). The event “It seemed like a good idea at the time...Brexit – an interim assessment” will shed light on what it means for Great Britain, the EU and Germany, even though there might be no agreement between London and Brussels in the coming weeks. The panel discussion will include historian Prof. Dr. Ronald G. Asch, economist Prof. Dr. Lars P. Feld, historian Prof. Dr. Jörn Leonhard and English specialist Prof. Dr. Christian Mair.
