Art History Forum of Italy
Freiburg, Mar 06, 2018
The Art History Forum of Italy, held every two years some place else, serves as an open discussion platform for substantive and methodological issues arising in the context of research on Italian art and its Mediterranean, European and global networks. The aim of this year's forum in Freiburg is to make the current topics and methods of research on Italy visible and to take a closer look at the peculiarities of their occupational fields and institutions. Particular attention will be paid to museums and interdisciplinary research networks. Some of the most important expert representatives from universities and museums throughout Germany as well as both German Max Planck Institutes on art history in Florence and Rome will participate.
