Albert Bürklin Prize goes to Moritz Hennemann

Once a year, the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft Freiburg (Scientific Society Freiburg) distinguishes outstanding research achievements at the University of Freiburg. On November 20, 2019, the Society will present Freiburg legal scholar Dr. Moritz Hennemann with the Albert Bürklin Research Prize for the Humanities, Social Sciences and Law, worth 10,000 euros. The prize is awarded for his research in the field of information and media law. The Albert Bürklin Prize has been awarded every two years since 2013, alternating with the Helmut Holzer Research Prize for Medicine, Natural and Technical Sciences. Rector Prof. Dr. Hans-Jochen Schiewer will give the welcoming address, followed by a lecture by Anke Weidlich, Professor of Energy Distribution and Technologies at INATECH, the Department of Sustainable Systems Engineering in the University’s Faculty of Engineering.
