The Department of Sustainable Systems Engineering (INATECH) in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Freiburg has received significant funding: Starting in 2018, the Walter and Ingeborg Herrmann Foundation is funding the Chair for Engineering of Functional Materials, in particular its research on high-performance ultrasound, for the next ten years with a total of one million euros.
