The University of Freiburg has introduced new hygiene regulations in response to changes made by the state of Baden-Württemberg. With immediate effect, classroom-based courses are once again possible for the remainder of the 2020 summer semester. Prof. Dr. Juliane Besters-Dilger, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, explains the conditions under which lecturers and students are now allowed to meet in non-digital spaces, which teaching formats might be suitable for the winter semester and which possibilities members of the University have to get involved in this topic - for example with a survey and a live-streamed panel discussion.
