2023 University Teaching Award for Exceptional Instruction and the Special Award for Student Commitment

This year, for the fifteenth time, the University of Freiburg is announcing the call for nominations for the University Teaching Award for exceptional work in instructing students. The award recognizes outstanding courses and seminars, years of teaching at a high contextual and didactic level, and innovative teaching concepts. A total of 10 thousand euros is available for the award and can be divided among several winners. Furthermore, the university is also presenting the Special Award for Student Commitment in recognition of outstanding, exemplary, student dedication. The award has a 500 euro endowment. Nominations and applications may be submitted to the faculties’ study commissions until 2 May 2023.
