Start-up Stories
Freiburg, Jul 18, 2017
The Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of the State of Baden-Württemberg (MWK) is funding the start-up culture in universities across the state with its program „Start-Up Culture in Studies and Teaching" (GuStL) from 2016 to 2019. The University of Freiburg has received about 600,000 euros for its project „Access to Starting a Business – Learning. Living. Developing a Start-up Culture." With this in mind, the science minister Theresia Bauer, together with the University, is extending an invitation to an evening event – "Start-up Stories: Still studying – or starting up instead?" Along with the minister, company founders, business angels and representatives from the University will participate in a podium discussion. In addition, start-ups and projects will be presented in poster form in order to offer a look at start-up teachings and culture at the University.
