New Conference from the International Language and Law Association from September 7-9, 2017

More than 50 presentations on the question of multilingualism and translation in European law, legislative issues and the digitalization of law, migration, discussions in court, linguistic criminal forensics and much more: During the new conference from the International Language and Law Association at the University of Freiburg, experts along with the Hessian Minister of Culture Prof. Dr. Alexander Lorz, the US legal scholars Prof. Dr. Lawrence Solan and Prof. Dr. Frances Olsen as well as the Spanish linguist Prof. Dr. Ruth Breeze will discuss the opportunities and challenges that arise from the intersection of various linguistic and legal cultures.
