Invitation: Freiburg and the War in Ukraine – Perspectives from the University, City and Regional Council

A public panel discussion will examine, among other things, support services and attitudes toward the war

What to do in the face of Russia's war of aggression on Ukraine? This question has greatly moved the people of Freiburg, in particular because of the close city partnership with Lviv. Against this background, the Colloquium politicum at the University of Freiburg invites you to a public online panel discussion on March 25, 2022 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. The University, the City of Freiburg and the Regional Council of Freiburg will offer their perspectives and approaches on the following questions, among others: How can the people in Ukraine be helped, how can those Ukrainians who already live here or are on their way to us be helped? What long-term consequences can Freiburg expect as a result of the war? In addition, ideas are to be exchanged on how the forces of the individual stakeholders can be harnessed in order to effectively offer support services.
