Energy, climate, sustainability

Which climate changes are able to be measured today? How will the climate change in the future? How is international climate policy to be assessed and how are the issues of energy, climate and sustainability related? The Kiel climate researcher and oceanologist Prof. Dr. Mojib Latif will answer these and many other questions in a lecture at the University of Freiburg. Latif is president of the German Association for the think tank “Club of Rome.” He received the German Environmental Award in 2015. The event is part of the series “Climate change here and now: Action,” which will take place from October 16 through November 28, 2018 in Freiburg. Dr. Sabine Reinecke from the Chair of Forest and Environmental Policy at the University of Freiburg will moderate the event.
