30th anniversary for the Frankreich Zentrum

Founded by the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1989 as the central institution of the University of Freiburg, the Frankreich Zentrum (France Center) bundles diverse research and promotes Franco-German relations in science, culture and business. Under the title “The Frankreich Zentrum and the Modernization at the University", the political scientist and founding mentor, former rector Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Jäger, looks back on 30 years of the Frankreich Zentrum. Following his talk, Michael Roth, Minister of State for Europe at the Federal Foreign Office and Federal Commissioner for Franco-German Cooperation, will give a lecture on “The Treaty of Aachen. For forward-looking Franco-German cooperation.”
