The University of Freiburg’s Academic Orchestra is performing its concert for the summer semester 2017 together with the Freiburg Bach Choir. Both ensembles, which are under the direction of Hannes Reich, will present „Messa da Requiem“. Performed for the first time in 1874, the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi set the Catholic requiem mass to music.
