In Retrospect: Coronavirus and University Teaching

Video and answers to questions on the panel debate now available online

Freiburg, Aug 11, 2020

The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic led to the University of Freiburg having to switch its entire teaching program in the 2020 summer semester to distance learning and digital formats in the shortest possible time. What opportunities does the emergency offer for university teaching? What has it been like for teachers and students in the summer semester and how do they rate their experiences? What differences will there be between the digital summer semester and the coming winter semester? These questions were at the heart of a panel debate on 28 July 2020, which was live streamed. Anyone who missed it can now catch up on the university’s media portal.
