The Internet of the future
Freiburg, Jul 04, 2017
The evolution of the internet has been formed by a high level dynamic and has been driven in great part by digital transformation, the convergence and migration of traditional specialized infrastructures for various services – such as the ISDN networks, cable television networks or radio networks – up to integrated all-encompassing IP-based networks and through the increasing significance of smart infrastructures and the Internet of Things. In honor of the 50th annual Freiburg transportation seminar, an interdisciplinary workshop will be held that will address the challenges associated with the technical implementation along with the economic and regulatory issues arising from the Internet of the future.
