Brain, technology, body image
Interactive exhibition “Self-Built” with workshops, discussions and art installations on December 8, 2018
Freiburg, Nov 27, 2018
The Nexus Experiments project by the BrainLinks-BrainTools Cluster of Excellence at the University of Freiburg is investigating how the brain imagines its own body and how diseases and technology change so-called body image. Visitors can have their body image drawn, test how this perception changes with age, talk to experts and try out body illusions. In workshops on dance, figure art and acting, artists, students and scientists will also present different perspectives on the subject of body image and neurotechnology.
